Fire Explorer Post 908 provides the opportunity for young men and women, ages 14 to 20, to become familiar with career opportunities available in the fire service. Through classroom instruction, hands-on training, and volunteer work, Explorers are provided a base of knowledge and experience that will benefit them not only in the fire service, but also in all future endeavors. We are currently accepting applications for available Explorer positions. Please contact West Valley Fire District (503) 876-2004. Fire Explorer Drill is held every Saturday from 9am-12pm.
