**no I’m not running for school board this term but several of you are Willard community members.

Please consider coming to the community curriculum nights. Controversial topic at hand here and your tax dollars are paying for it. Stay informed, ask the questions, and hold the district accountable including the current board members who ultimately the district answers to.

If you don't remember seeing this email, here is a very important reminder! Parents, we need to be involved in what our children are being taught! This is a great opportunity for us to show up, to have a say, and to make a difference. Don't miss out next week on the Community Curriculum Night!

I want to take a moment and thank all of the people who helped make this campaign happen:

my husband and daughters - you gave me the confidence to run and supported me the most, my truly selfless donors - without you none of this could have happened, my volunteers - walking the streets takes time and effort & I appreciate you so much, to everyone who helped put up banners and signs - your dedication to the campaign was the best, to anyone who liked/shared/commented - your engagement fueled the fire.

Thank you to everyone who voted for me and shared with others. 913 people believed in me and that’s a great feeling. 🙏

We will be out and about today for the last time! Hoping to bring different perspective to the board.

I’ve been in these buildings, I’ve experienced the chaos that is classroom management, I’ve worked with the children not at grade level, I’ve seen kids flourish with opportunity & crumble from one opinion.

I’ve worked alongside our staff, who are tired, counting down the days until the next 3 day weekend, who want the best for these kids but also can’t sacrifice their own mental health, who voice their concerns only to be met with a brick wall.

I’ve dropped my kids off praying for their safety every single day, I’ve had to had heavy conversations with them at 8 & 6 yo about the lockdown they had and how it was a false alarm, I roamed the halls as an employee checking for open exterior doors & quickly getting them locked. I want no excuses when it comes to the safety of our children. I spoke with a family yesterday who’s daughter was outside during the WIS dog attack… barking dogs still trigger her.

Willard - let’s go!
