Willard Intermediate South, Willard Intermediate North, and Willard Middle School took a total of 5 choirs to compete in the Boys Choir of Springfield Choral Festival on Friday, May 15th. Each choir sang for a panel of judges. We are proud to announce that the WIS Tiger Tones, WIN Tiger Singers, WMS Tenor/Bass Choir, WMS Combined Treble Choir, and WMS Tiger Tones ALL received a GOLD rating, which is the highest rating a choir can achieve. Way to go Willard Choirs!

Today we celebrate Speech-Language Pathologist Appreciation Day!

We are grateful for our SLPs who advocate, encourage, and empower every student to succeed. Their dedication, patience, and expertise help students find their voices, build confidence, and connect with the world around them. From supporting communication and language development to strengthening social skills and literacy, their impact reaches far beyond the classroom.

Willard Navy Jr ROTC has a long tradition of excellence, leadership, and dedication — and this year’s team is no different.

The Drill Team recently competed in All Services Drill Competition (Rocky Mountain Classic) in Denver. A total of 46 schools traveled from around the nation — including teams from Alaska and Guam — to compete at the highest levels across multiple events.

Your Tiger Battalion surpassed last year’s performance with an outstanding showing:
• 5th Place Armed Inspection
• 4th Place Armed Regulation
• 5th Overall Armed Division

They were one of only four Navy schools competing against numerous Army teams, along with Air Force and Marine Corps programs, and still delivered an incredible performance. This marks the second time the battalion has placed at the national level — a testament to the hard work, discipline, and commitment these cadets bring every day.

And the accomplishments don’t stop there. For the first time ever, the Willard High School NJROTC Drone Team will travel to Columbus to compete in the JROTC All Service National Drone Championship!

This Tiger Battalion continues to raise the standard and make the Willard community proud.
