I bring many years of experience on the baseball field of developing players. Coach Carter will be teaching history and be an assistant girls basketball coach at WHS!

“I am looking forward to being part of the Willard faculty this upcoming school year! I was born and raised in northeast Georgia, then spent the first four years of my career in Savannah as a middle school Social Studies teacher. I relocated to Missouri last year and taught at the high school level, and am excited to continue doing so in the community I live in!

I absolutely love history and have enjoyed getting to share that passion with my students these last five years. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue my career here in Willard!”

Last week, we celebrated our teachers with daily food and drink, or as we called it, final
weeks of school fuel!

One week is not enough to recognize all the work teachers do for students. Teaching in the classroom, pouring into athletes, artists, and professional speakers outside of school, showing up to student events, they never stop pouring into other students and people in general.

When the opportunity presents itself, thank a teacher! The simple phrase of “Thank you” is worth more than any gift card, although Sonic is nice too!

We welcomed incoming 9th students today for Transition Day! Students heard from current WHS students on common questions, and how to be successful in high school. We also had a little fun as well!
