Remember: No legitimate business, government agency, or utility company will demand payment by gift card, cryptocurrency, or cash.

Scammers may pressure you to act quickly or keep it secret. Hang up, do not send money or share personal information, and verify the call using a trusted phone number.

When in doubt, slow down, hang up, and verify.

Kaylee is no stranger to the team—before attending and graduating from the academy, she spent several months serving as a part-time dispatcher. She brings that experience, along with a bachelor’s degree from The University of Findlay, to her new role and is currently pursuing her master’s degree.

Willard — Last night, two individuals wearing dark clothing, long sleeves, and masks were observed acting suspiciously in the 200 block of Hayes Street. At this time, no criminal charges have been filed; however, their behavior raised concerns that they may have been attempting to engage in unlawful activity.

It is likely they may be out and about at some point in the future. IF you see anything suspicious, please call the Willard Police Department at (419)933-2561 so that we can check it out.
