Looking to start or continue your law enforcement career in a busy small town where the City pays your OP&F pension? We’re hiring at the Willard Police Department!

Our officers work a 12-hour rotating schedule with every other weekend off (Friday–Sunday), earn longevity pay after one year, and get their uniforms paid for.

We also offer traditional or HSA health insurance plans, double-time holiday pay, FOP/OLC union representation, an in-house exercise room, and generous paid vacation, personal time, and sick leave.

If you want a career with a department that truly cares about its community and its officers, we want you on our team.

This morning, officers from the Willard Police Department responded to a series of break-ins and burglaries on the north side of town near Spring Street — the same area impacted just a few months ago.

Thanks to quick work by our patrol units and investigators, a suspect has been taken into custody in connection with these crimes.

We encourage anyone with additional information, or anyone who believes they may have been a victim, to contact the Willard Police Department at (419) 933‑2561.

Your vigilance and cooperation continue to make our community safer. Thank you, Willard
