Max Benning, Engagement Coordinator for the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management, will be hosting a virtual listening session this Thursday to hear from landowners across the state.

“DFFM will use the information we gather from the in-person meetings and this virtual session to develop new strategies to provide resources and technical assistance to private landowners, helping them maintain and manage the vegetation on their properties.

All landowners are welcome to attend and share their perspectives.”

Funding is now available through the RCPP grant awarded to Pheasants & Quail Forever, AACD, and the Arizona Game and Fish Department! Arizona’s Conservation Districts and partners are ready to help producers put conservation projects on the ground!

The annual meetings of the Tucson, Cochise, and Graham/Greenlee Coordinated Resource Management Field Groups will be held on the following dates:

Tucson Field Group - Date/Time: TBD at the Arizona Game and Fish Dept. office (555 N Greasewood Rd, Tucson, AZ 85745).

Cochise & Graham/Greenlee Field Groups - Wednesday, October 22nd with Cochise field group going from 9:00am-12:00pm and Graham/Greenlee going from 1:00pm-4:00pm. Location for Cochise & Graham/Greenlee field groups is at the Cochise College - Willcox Center (470 N Bisbee Ave, Willcox, AZ 85643).

Updated agendas will be posted as we approach the meeting dates.
