Thank you for your overwhelming support throughout my campaign. To all those who I met during neighborhood walks, emails, I appreciate you taking time to talk with me. Thank you also to everyone who allowed me to install a sign… who shared and commented on my posts…and who showed up to vote (all 525 of you). I am humbled by your support and I appreciate you.

I'm proud of the effort we all put in to engage in real issues and give parents a voice. While we came up a few votes short (literally), I am encouraged by what this shows….that SO many in this community have their eyes wide open. We have shown that we are engaged …we have voiced that we care about our childrens’ education and the future of our schools.

Together, we can work to ensure that our children are receiving an education that is unbiased and developmentally appropriate. Together, we can work to ensure that our children are not self censoring their views and that they are supported and encouraged to think independently, without fear of repercussions.

I encourage you to stay involved by volunteering in the classroom, attending monthly board meetings, and by engaging with your children to learn about their school day. As a community “Let’s Keep Talking” and stay connected so we can bring our concerns, ideas, and voices to the board and administration.

Together, we are stronger!

I’m just so grateful for so many of you who have lifted me up these last months. I will forever remember the support of such an amazing village- it truly takes a village!

VOTING DAY, WILLIAMS BAY!

Let your voice be heard through your vote. We want to keep age inappropriate materials and ideologies from trickling into the classrooms, help support our incredible teachers, increase diversity of backgrounds on the Board to avoid "group think", and let's BE SURE that parents keep their ability to be involved in their kids’ education!

Vote for me, Sam Perkins, I will represent you well!

Thank you Williams Bay for all of your support! My ballot was 180th to be put through this morning at 7:50am… That feels like a great turn out… keep it coming!

Good night Williams Bay, this is the “last sleep” before Election Day!

We have had a lot of conversations, knocked on a lot of doors and written a lot of issues of “Let’s Talk” All to share with you some things that are important to me, and to show you how hard I’d work to represent you.

If you haven’t already, please make a plan to vote tomorrow! Get your spouse and a couple friends out to vote too!
