This week at Jamestown, we are celebrating the Class of 2030! Today, they signed in! Tomorrow, each Freshmen will be receiving a handwritten note from our Nest leaders. We’ve loved learning about and getting to know the Class of 2030- Go Eagles!

Congratulations to the two JHS seniors named National Merit Semifinalists, Aidan Farah and Ben Gershowitz.

More than 1.2 million students across approximately 20,000 high schools entered the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the PSAT/NMSQT. Semifinalists represent less than 1% of U.S. high school seniors and include the highest-scoring entrants in each state.

These students now have the opportunity to continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships to be awarded next spring. Congratulations Aidan and Ben!

Mark your calendar for Tuesday, August 18 - it's a BIG day for new students at Jamestown!

✅Freshman Orientation (9th grade): 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
✅Transfer Student Orientation (10th, 11th, 12th grade): 2:30 - 4 p.m.

Freshman and Transfer Student Orientations are designed for students only.

Open House for all students and families begins at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18.

9th grade orientation is from 8:00am – 1:00pm
10th-12th grade student’s, that are new to Jamestown, orientation is from 2:30pm-4:00pm

📣📣 THIS Friday, August 14: Make plans to attend Jamestown's Parent University. Hear a presentation about the school procedures and policies, tour the school, and get all your questions answered about the upcoming school year.

Both sessions will be at Jamestown High School and will be identical. Pick whichever works best for your schedule!
