Today, Jackson Township recognizes Flag Day and honors the history and symbolism of the United States flag. 🇺🇸

On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress adopted the first official American flag, creating a lasting symbol of freedom, unity, and the enduring spirit of our nation.

The 50 stars represent the states united together, while the 13 stripes honor the original colonies that fought for independence. Through times of challenge and triumph, the American flag has stood as a reminder of the sacrifices made to preserve the liberties we enjoy today.

As we celebrate Flag Day, we encourage our community to reflect on the values our flag represents and proudly display the Stars and Stripes.

The Jackson Township Trustees (Clermont County) is accepting sealed bids for the furnishing of all labor and materials needed to construct: Jackson Township 2026 Road Resurfacing Program, in accordance with the Ohio Department of Transportation Construction and Material Specifications, Standard Construction Drawings, Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control, the State of Ohio Department of Transportation Bridge Design Manual, and other applicable standards in force on the date of letting and in accordance with the project specifications (including Special Provisions) on file with Jackson Township.
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked: BID, Jackson township 2026 Road Resurfacing Program, and received at the Jackson Township Administrators Office located at 3263 US Route 50, Williamsburg, Ohio 45176. Applications are to arrive no later than 12:00 p.m. local time June 18, 2026. After which, all bids shall be opened and read publicly at 7:00 p.m. June 18, 2026. All inquiries and bid documents, detailing terms and conditions of the proposed improvement, may be downloaded from the Jackson Township website at https://www.jacksontwpclermontoh.gov/ under the heading Jackson Township 2026 Road Resurfacing Program. What a beautiful day at Marathon Park as we welcome the Cincinnati Cycle Club Honor Ride to Jackson Township!

This special event brings cyclists together to support a great cause—raising funds for Honor Flight Tri-State, which provides veterans with the opportunity to visit the memorials built in their honor in Washington, D.C.

We are proud to host participants, volunteers, and supporters as they gather for a day of riding, remembrance, and community. Thank you to the Cincinnati Cycle Club and everyone involved for helping make a difference in the lives of our veterans.

We're grateful to be a part of an event that honors those who have served our nation while showcasing the beauty of Marathon Park and Jackson Township.
