We're proud to spotlight Jamestowne Investments, LLC. a valued neighbor and supporter of Paws of Honor. Their commitment to our mission helps ensure retired military and law enforcement K9s receive the care, comfort, and support they deserve after years of service.

Partnerships with local businesses create a lasting impact. When communities come together, more retired K9 heroes gain access to vital resources, and more families receive support in caring for the dogs who once protected and served.

It’s with K9 Adele a 12 years old German Shepherd who served the United States Secret Service. She was a member of the Explosive Detection Team and her career 2015 to her retirement in 2024. K9 Adele helped to protect the President and the Vice President and their families through the country and around the world!

This afternoon we pause to remember K9 Blaze, EOW 5/24/2026.

His handler sent this in alongside his favorite photos:
"My favorite memory of K9 Blaze was him retiring after 7.5 years of faithful service and I was able to retire soon after and spend time with my best friend! He was a once in a lifetime partner that I will forever remember our friendship and time together. The day I selected Blaze I knew he was a great animal. He loved being with his family and beach trips. He was so loved by his pack. I can’t thank Paws of honor for the service they provided Blaze in his retirement years it’s amazing what they have done for him by providing financial support for much needed meds, vet care. Thanks to all these great humans!"

Thank you Blaze for your service to our communities. Not just your standard job, but being known as an ambassador for law enforcement K9s because of your excellent balance of non-stop work ethic and approachable demeanor. Job well done, Blaze, now it's time to rest. 🐾🌈

Partnerships create possibilities. 🐾

We're proud to recognize the United States War Dogs Association for their partnership and commitment to retired military and law enforcement K9s. Their support has helped bring more retired K9 heroes into the Paws of Honor program, reduce wait times for assistance, and ensure more dogs receive the care they deserve when they need it most.

When organizations come together with a shared mission, the impact reaches far beyond a single donation. It means more veterinary care, more support for handlers, and more retired K9s living healthy, comfortable lives.

These retired K9s spent their lives protecting others. Now it’s our turn to care for them. 🐾

Your support helps provide critical veterinary care, medications, food, and everyday support for retired military and law enforcement K9s across the country. Through a network of 573 clinics in 44 states, Paws of Honor is helping more than 1,100 retired canines!
