The boil water advisory for "Highway 26 - Wofford area" has been lifted.

***BOIL WATER ADVISORY***

A boil water advisory has been issued for Deep Branch Road and Maple Creek Road due to a main line break.

Until further notice, boil all water used for drinking and cooking. Water should be boiled for 3 minutes at a rolling boil.

The main line break was repaired earlier, then blew out again. The crew have it repaired again and are turning the water back on. They will be flushing lines to pull fresh water down from Corbin. However, a boil water advisory has been issued for the following areas:

"Highway 26 - Wofford area. From the railroad tracks at Wofford, south to 3 point and side roads in between."

Until further notice, boil all water used for drinking and cooking by bringing the water to a rolling boil for 3 minutes before using.

The crew is currently working on a leak in the Wofford area.

**UPDATE: The leak is fixed and the water has been turned on. The crew are flushing the lines now**

Our crew have found a leak on Hwy 26 and are working to repair it now.

Our crew is working on a main line leak on Highway 26 in the Wofford area.

Our office will close at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 14th, for system upgrades. We will reopen at 8:00 am Wednesday, July 15th. There is a drop box beside the front door if you wish to leave your payment. Cash payments must be in an envelope with your name and address written on the envelope. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, but in order to get the system upgrades we must close the office for this time period.

***BOIL WATER ADVISORY ***

Boil water advisory has been issued for the following areas:

Egnor Hollow Road on Highway 1064, Highway 779 to Bunch's Grocery, Browns Creek Road. Highway 92 East to Dal Road, Tackett Creek Road, Buck Creek Road and all side roads in between.

Water used for drinking and cooking should be boiled for three minutes at a rolling boil until further notice.
