A few moments from the casino portion of last week’s River Royale!

There were big wins, bold bets, and plenty of friendly competition, all played with fake money, of course. Because real money would have been illegal. We were raising money, not gambling with it. 😂

While the money was pretend, the fun, prizes, and impact were very real. Thank you to everyone who joined us for an unforgettable evening supporting Grove Christian Outreach Center and the Neighbors we serve throughout greater Williamsburg.

Join us Sunday, October 11, for the 5th Annual Grove Trotter 5K/10K Bridge Run at Chickahominy Riverfront Park!

Run or walk across the Chickahominy River Bridge and enjoy a beautiful course along the Virginia Capital Trail while supporting Grove Christian Outreach Center. Every participant will receive a finisher’s medal and commemorative T-shirt.

Join us November 4 and 5 at the Greater Williamsburg Sports & Events Center for two exciting evenings of pickleball, friendly competition, and community impact.

Players of all skill levels are welcome, and registration includes entry into the tournament, an event T shirt, a swag bag, and trophies.

Get ready to see creativity, teamwork, and community spirit come together at the 2026 CANstruction Competition!

On Wednesday, October 21, teams will race against the clock to design and build incredible sculptures made entirely from cans and boxes of food. This year’s theme is Celebrating America’s 250th: Where History Lives and Community Builds.

The best part? After the competition, all food used in the sculptures will be donated to THRIVE Peninsula and Grove Christian Outreach Center to support local families.

Come watch these amazing creations take shape and experience what our community can build when we work together!
