The Gathering Place is in urgent need of paper and plastic shopping bags for our neighbors, as well as adult incontinence products for neighbors in need.

These items help us serve families and individuals with dignity, care, and compassion.

📚✏️ Help Local Students Start the School Year Strong! ✏️📚

Grove Christian Outreach Center is now collecting school supplies to support children and families throughout greater Williamsburg as they prepare for the upcoming school year.

Items currently needed include:
• Markers (regular and dry erase)
• Black pens
• Highlighters
• Paper
• 1-inch and 3-inch binders
• Colored pencils
• Tissues
• Hand sanitizer

Donations can be dropped off at GCOC, 8800 Pocahontas Trail, Williamsburg, VA 23185.

Every notebook, marker, and binder helps ensure a student walks into the classroom ready to learn and succeed. Thank you for helping us invest in the next generation!

Suggested donations include:
🥫 Canned meats, fruits, and vegetables
🍝 Pasta and pasta sauce
🥣 Low sugar cereals
🍜 Ramen
🧴 Cooking oil and condiments
🥞 Baking mixes and pantry staples

Simply drive through, drop off your donation, and help us fill shelves and fill hearts for neighbors facing food insecurity.

🚨 Summer Lunch Drivers Needed! 🚨

Our Summer Lunch Program is just around the corner, and we are still in great need of volunteer drivers to help make this program a success for children and families throughout greater Williamsburg.

Each summer, volunteers help deliver lunches to children who may otherwise face food insecurity while school is out. Without enough drivers, we cannot reach every child who depends on this program.

If you have a valid driver's license, a few hours to spare, and a heart for serving your community, we need you.
