Our What’s Your Why series continues with our newest graduate: David! 👨🏻‍🎓Here’s what he had to say.

“I came here because I wanted a better education and the chance to proudly say that I earned my GED. My dream now is to get my contractor’s license and build a future in construction. I’m doing this for myself and my family, knowing that every step forward creates more possibilities for all of us. If I could change anything, it would be getting this done sooner, but I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished. Earning my GED helped me prove a lot of people wrong, and it showed me what I’m capable of.”

David attended classes consistently, did his homework, and asked questions during his studies. That effort paid off! 🙌🏼 🎉

Another What’s Your Why post! Today we have Carmel. She is a good example for how to get things done: come to class, do your assignments, and communicate with your teacher. And now she’s doing it in college! Here’s what she had to say about her time in our school:

I used to feel completely lost, like I had no direction and no real options without an education. That feeling pushed me to take a hard look at my life and make a change. I wanted to show my kids and prove to myself that it’s never too late to go after something better. Getting my GED opened the door for me to go to college and finally study information technology, something I’ve been interested in for a long time. It’s about growing, building a better future, and showing my kids what’s possible. I’m doing this for them and for me.
