The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is a premier volunteer organization, dedicated to serving our communities and the U.S. Coast Guard. We are a unique force multiplier that carries out an array of responsibilities.
Our responsibility includes providing benefits and services for our members, including recognition of their dedication and time. Per the Auxiliary manual, "the recognition of an Auxiliaristβs service, through the presentation of timely and appropriate awards, is essential to the success of the Auxiliary program."
This month, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary City Island Flotilla (014-05-04) fulfilled that directive with several members receiving awards as shown in these photos from January 11, 2022.
