🚒WILLIAMSON FIRE DEPARTMENT – APRIL CALL LOG 🚑

During the month of April, our department responded to a total of 62 calls. We remain committed to serving our community with professionalism, readiness, and care.

Breakdown of April Responses:
• Medical: 31
• MVC: 3
• MVC with Entrapment: 1
• Public Service: 5
• Fire: 20
• Trail Rescues: 2

We appreciate the continued support from our community. Your trust allows us to do what we do every day to protect, serve, and stand ready.

The Williamson Fire Department would like to thank everyone for making our T‑shirt fundraiser a success!

If you placed an order, shirts are now available for pickup at the station. For your convenience, we also have a pickup box located across from the office in the stairwell if we are unavailable at the moment.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Due to a conflict with the parade, our Duck Race will begin at 2:30 PM.

Catch us live on Facebook as the ducks make their way down the river. It is going to be a great time for the whole community.

🚒❤️ We’d like to extend a sincere THANK YOU to the Mingo County Commission for their generous donation of an AED, along with the bags and essential supplies that came with it. This equipment helps us better serve and protect our community when every second counts.

We’re proud of the level of training within our department:
All of our career firefighters are, at minimum, EMT-B certified. We currently have 2 full-time paramedics, 2 members actively attending paramedic school, and 2 additional EMT-B personnel.

Our part-paid firefighters are also committed to your safety, each holding certifications in AED use and CPR/First Aid at minimum.

Your support helps us continue providing the highest level of emergency care possible. Thank you for investing in our department and our community! 🙏
