**National Registry Emergency Medical Technician:**

Both of these members spent over 200 hours in training and months of studying to obtain their EMT certification.

**Pro Board Certifications:**
* **Firefighter 1:** Carter Mooers
* **Firefighter 2:** Will Schwanke, Porter Kling
* **Instructor 1:** Bryan Baird
* **Fire Officer 1:** Bryan Baird

Pro Board certification validates that a responder's skills meet strict national standards. These members have invested hundreds of hours in training to obtain these certifications.

We would like to congratulate two of our Live-in members on graduating from Pennsylvania College of Technology this weekend! Nick Covello graduated with a bachelor's in Aviation Maintenance Technology with honors, and Carter Mooers graduated with an associate's in Heavy Equipment Technology with honors. Both Nick and Carter were presented with the community service award by Chief Nugent for their dedication to the fire company while also attending college full-time.

Nick successfully completed his NREMT while with us, on top of numerous other training courses, which are too many to list. Nick never shied away from assisting with any fire company operation and always asked questions and looked for ways to improve on the fire ground.

Carter came to us with zero training or experience and within a year completed his Firefighter 1 Pro Board certification, vehicle rescue technician, NREMT, water rescue technician, and many more training courses. Carter always has a great attitude, and eagerness to learn more.

We would like to thank Nick and Carter for their dedication in not only improving themselves but the fire company as a whole during their time with us. We would like to wish them luck with their future endeavors!
