Big things are happening in Warren County, and it all starts with partnerships. Today was a perfect example of how bringing together folks from different counties and different federal and state agencies to work on a water project (safe drinking water) important to a rural community such as Pine Village. Together they shared information on how to fill in the gaps to bring this project over the hump. Strategic investments like this will help create opportunities for growth, housing, business development and improved quality of life for residents.

We appreciate USDA Rural Development’s partnership and continued support of rural communities like ours. Working together, we can make meaningful investments that strengthen our infrastructure, support future growth and create lasting benefits for generations to come.

Warren County needs more entrepreneurs! Every businesses started out as a small idea - this is a perfect opportunity to turn your dream into the start of something.

Today, we officially broke ground on the Sandstone Heights apartments and homes. This is a huge milestone for the Town of Williamsport and Warren County.

Why does this matter? Because workforce housing opens doors. It creates opportunities, strengthens our workforce, and allows young professionals, families, and long-time residents to stay in the community they love.

🌽🚜 Warren County continues to prove why agriculture is the backbone of our community!

Warren County led the entire state of Indiana in average corn yield with an incredible 248.6 bushels per acre across 82,700 harvested acres. That’s something our farmers and ag industry should be extremely proud of!

And when it comes to soybeans, Warren County was right at the top — finishing just behind Benton County by only 0.1 bushels per acre with an average yield of 69.6 bushels per acre. Warren farmers harvested 69,700 acres of soybeans, producing an impressive 4.853 million bushels.

Congratulations to our neighboring Benton County on another outstanding year as Indiana’s top overall corn producer and second-highest soybean producer. Together, our region continues to showcase some of the best agricultural productivity in the state and nation.

Thank you to the farmers, ag businesses, equipment operators, grain handlers, and families who work tirelessly to make Warren County agriculture thrive. Your hard work fuels our local economy and feeds communities far beyond our county lines. 🌱🌽
