General information
The library serves the students and staff of Williamsport Area High School. We currently subscribe to about 40 general interest magazines and have approximately 20,000 books in our collection. In 2009, we were selected to receive a $260,000 federal Improving Literacy Through School Libraries grant which has been used to purchase more than 6000 new books including many manga and graphic novels. Student and teacher input has been integral to the selection of new titles. Mrs. Kimberly Brosan is the librarian and a graduate of WAHS. Mrs. Dershem and Mrs. Pellegrino are the library aides.
