Enjoy the annual “Set The Night To Music” celebration and fireworks show safely and responsibly. WPA parking lot will be available for free parking on the 4th. Please check RVTA’s shuttle service that runs every 10 minutes from various lots. The Third Street Garage and Church Street Transportation Center will be open as well. The ground level of the Third Street Garage will be reserved for handicapped parking only. There is no roof access to the public at either parking garage for safety reasons. There will be staff stationed on each roof. Elevators at each garage will be shut down from 6pm to Midnight.

This Holiday Season, the Williamsport Parking Authority will be decorating select meters throughout the Downtown Williamsport area. Please donate any spare change you may have by inserting it in the meter. Not only will this provide free parking spaces, but all the change from the meters throughout the season will be donated to Family Promise of Lycoming County. Our first meter will be located on the corner for West 4th and Pine Streets near Alabaster Coffee Roaster & Tea Company. The fund raiser will run through December 29. Be on the look out for other decorated meters!

As we migrate to a new enforcement and processing solution, online payments of tickets and permits will be unavailable beginning Wednesday 9/12/23. Online ticket payment will be available again on Monday 9/18/23. Permit payments will be unavailable online. Please call our office at (570)323-6476 for any payments during this time.

The Williamsport Parking Authority has not increased on-street meter rates in over 15 years. Since that time, new technologies have been implemented such as installing smart meters and card payment capabilities. This increase will help improve turnover at street meters offering more opportunity for convenient parking for patrons of downtown businesses and restaurants.

To ensure the safety of spectators and participants, the Williamsport Parking Authority will restrict parking on the following parking lots on the parade route Monday August 14, 2023: Lot L (Corner of Court and W 4th St.), Lot R (W 4th St., next to Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center), Lot E (W 4th St., Liberty Arena).

Our office will be closing at 2:45pm on Thursday July 27th. Payments may be made online at www.Parkwilliamsport.com. Ticketing will still be in effect until 5:00pm. The office will resume normal business hours on Friday July 28th.

Our Administrative Office will be closing today at 2:30pm for training purposes. Payments can be made at parkwilliamsport.com or can be dropped in our dropboxes located throughout downtown and at our office entrance. Normal office hours will resume Thursday July 6, 2023.

Due to safety concerns, roof access will be prohibited to vehicles and spectators on July 4th, 2023. The Williamsport Parking Authority and River Valley Transit Authority will be monitoring the areas all day. Elevators in each garage will be put out of service beginning at 6pm. As always parking is free this day and the 1st Floor of the Third Street Garage will be designated as Handicap Only.
