Important information regarding LTC Applications…

The Lycoming County Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce we have partnered with Permitium LLC to now offer an online option for those that wish to apply for a License to Carry (LTC)!

Effective immediately, Lycoming County residents will have the ability to apply for their License to Carry online. Don’t worry, we are still accepting paper applications for those that wish to come into the office to get their License to Carry. To access the online system, you will go to https://lycomingpa.permitium.com/ccw/start or scan the QR code below!

On our website, applicants will see a link to apply for an LTC online. Once the online application is completed, applicants will now also have the ability to make the payment via credit/debit card. Please note, there will be a non-refundable convenience fee assessed by Permitium LLC for the online service. Once the completed application is submitted, my office will review it and if completed properly, the application will be submitted to PICS for approval processing. Approved applicants will be notified by email, telephone or text message, that the LTC was approved and needs to be picked up within ten (10) days of notification.

We are constantly looking at ways to better serve the community. This is another example of our continued efforts, by offering a more streamlined process to applying and making payment for an LTC. By partnering with Permitium LLC, this new application process allows applications to be submitted anytime day or night, holidays or weekends. The online process will also allow us the ability to reduce the amount of time an individual would spend inside the courthouse.

We are aware that some individuals may not have access to a computer nor able to apply online. Again, we will continue to offer the conventional, hand written paper application, process for anyone who would not choose to use the online process.
