Pack 12 celebrated our scouts accomplishments with awards and family potluck this afternoon. Scouts and families also learned about how to retire a flag, even though we were unable to retire the actual flags due to windy conditions.

Scouts of Pack 12 enjoyed a cold & rainy day at Camp K for Cubs Explore Rocks. They made weather rocks; learned about fossils; made a seismograph; played games; learned about the layers of the earth with a fun snack; danced at a rock-n-roll dance party; and panned for gold.

Scouts of Pack 12 and their families got to dig in the dirt to plant 7 oak trees, 20 elderberries and 20 hazelnuts at First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania-Rider Park. We are so thankful for their volunteering their time for conservation.

Scouts of Pack 12 enjoyed the afternoon at the Lycoming Sensory Garden exploring the garden and having lunch. They decorated and potted marigolds, just in time for Mother's Day. The Bear worked on finishing his whittling requirement. The Lions worked on their Ready, Set, Grow requirement.
