What a wonderful day at the Williamston Farmers Market today! ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿฅ’๐ŸŒฝ

Several generous vendors donated fresh produce to the Williamston Area Senior Center, and we are incredibly grateful for their kindness and support of our senior community.

These donations help us provide healthy, fresh food for our members and remind us how fortunate we are to live in such a caring community. Thank you to those who contributed todayโ€”you truly made a difference!

๐ŸŽ‰ Birthday Bash Celebration!

The first Thursday of every month is one of our favorite traditions at the Williamston Area Senior Centerโ€”our Birthday Bash! ๐Ÿฅณ

Yesterday, we gathered to celebrate two of our wonderful members who have birthdays this month. We enjoyed cake, laughter, friendship, and the chance to make these special birthdays even more memorable.

Happy Birthday to our June birthday celebrants! ๐ŸŽ‚ We are so grateful to have you as part of our senior center family and wish you a year filled with happiness, good health, and many blessings.

Join us next month as we continue this fun tradition of celebrating the amazing people who make our center such a special place! โค๏ธ

It was a great way to end our week with meeting Deputy Belanger and K-9 Whit to learn about the extensive training, work and dedication these officers experience. Their team has six dogs in total; four on patrol and two trained in Corrections.

Training begins when dogs are about a year old and they train for six months, 40 hours a week with homework. Training continues throughout their career at 16-32 hours a month to keep dogs at peak performance.

K-9 Whit was trained w his Kong (dogs choose their training tool) and this is used consistently throughout their careers. More info with photos.

Many thanks to our officers!

Dewey Longuski serenaded us today with his own musical tunes and a few John Denver hits! He's as good as it gets - we can't wait to hear him again when he returns on the 23rd with Father Clark & The Red Cedar Boys for our Red Cedar Jubilee Senior Citizen Picnic!
