Welcome to… the 2026 Adult Summer Reading Challenge: Unearth a Story! 🦕📚

This summer from June 13th through August 21st, keep track of every book you read and every library program you attend. At the end of the summer, there will be a raffle drawing for prizes. Each point you earn counts as one entry in the raffle, so the more you participate, the better your chances are of winning a prize!

This year, we also have an additional themed challenge: read a book that corresponds to each of the 6 categories and you'll get an additional 10 points!

Just ONE more day until our 2026 Adult Summer Reading Challenge begins!!!

This year's theme is Unearth a Story, and adults have two ways to participate:

Online: Register and track your activity through the ReadSquared app or website (monroetpl.readsquared.com)

In Person: Visit the library to complete a registration slip, place it in the sign-up box and pick up paper reading logs to track your progress.

**Optional** Color Challenge: Looking for an extra challenge? Complete the Color Challenge to earn 10 bonus points toward the Summer Reading Challenge!

The adventure starts tomorrow and we can't wait to see what stories you'll uncover this summer! 🦖🦕🪺🌴⛏️🌿🌋
