The Grant County 4-H program offers a variety of clubs and programs to the children of Grant County ages 5-18

4-H’ers across the nation are responding to challenges every day in their communities and their world. With an expansive network reaching every corner of the country, 4-H is the nation’s largest youth development organization. More than 6 million 4-H youth in urban neighborhoods, suburban schoolyards and rural farming communities stand out among their peers: building revolutionary opportunities an

d implementing community-wide change at an early age. As the youth development program of the nation’s 109 land-grant universities and the Cooperative Extension System, 4-H fosters an innovative, “learn by doing” approach with proven results. The 4-H Study of Positive Youth Development, a longitudinal study conducted by the Institute for Applied Research in Youth Development at Tufts University, shows youth engaged with 4-H are:
•Nearly two times more likely to get better grades in school;
•Nearly two times more likely to plan to go to college;
•41 percent less likely to engage in risky behaviors; and
•25 percent more likely to positively contribute to their families and communities. The 4-Hs
Head, Heart, Hands, and Health are the four Hs in 4-H, and they are the four values members work on through fun and engaging programs.

We are finishing up our final evening. With that, we should be returning around 11:30am. We will also be sending out an all call to everyone with a confirmed arrival time.

We have been so busy on Day 2 & 3 with all of our different classes. From launching rockets, to zip lining, getting to relax at the pool, and even enjoying a good hammock hangout, the first half of camp is done and we are rolling into the final day. We hope it’s just as good as the rest!

Day 1 was amazing! We’re finishing up our first day of classes right now and getting ready for all of our afternoon and evening activities.

Attention Campers: Don't forget to pack efficiently! Campers have to carry their luggage to and from their cabin.

We'll see you at 7 AM tomorrow morning!

Kick off Summer with the second annual SUMMER BASH, put on by 4-H Teen Leadership TONIGHT at 6 pm!

All campers need to report to the extension office at 6:45 AM on Monday!

Dog Club, Archery, Photography, and Council.. you're on deck the following week!

No Phones allowed for campers ages 9-15. Please do not even bring them on Monday morning. Leave them safe and sound at home. We promise, your friends will remember you when you get back.

A reminder to please DO NOT pack your meds away in your luggage! Please put any meds, along with the camper's picture and the med form that was emailed 5/26/26 in a ziplock bag and turn those in on Monday morning at the office.
