Please be advised that due to ongoing technical issues with our telephone lines, the Monroe MUA will not shut off any water services tomorrow Wednesday, September 30, 2026 for any delinquent or unpaid accounts.

We understand that these phone issues may prevent customers from contacting our billing office to make payments or arrange payment plans. As a result, all scheduled service disconnections for non-payment are temporarily suspended until communication lines are fully restored.

Lead Service Line Program Notice
As part of our ongoing efforts to complete our Lead Service Line Inventory, an employee will be visiting homes where the customer-owned portion of the service line is currently listed as unknown.
Our employee will be going door to door and asking residents for permission to take a photo of the service line where it enters the property. Employees conducting these visits will have an MUA identification badge.
This work is being completed as part of a New Jersey State requirement to identify and replace lead service lines. This information will help us complete our inventory and ensure our records are accurate.
If no one is home at the time of the visit, a door tag will be left with instructions on how to self-submit a photo and information about your service line.
We appreciate your cooperation and assistance as we work to complete our Lead Service Line Inventory.
