Due to high winds and dry conditions, ALL OPEN BURNING is prohibited immediately throughout the Williamsville Fire Protection District (Village of Williamsville, Williams Township, and surrounding district).

This includes brush piles, leaf burning, and outdoor fires. Recreational fires in proper fire pits are still allowed. See the full notice below for complete details and contact information. We'll update when conditions improve. Stay safe!

BURN BAN LIFTED
We are happy to let everyone know that conditions have improved, and open burning is now allowed in the Williamsville Fire Protection District.

Before you burn, remember:
- 24-hour advance notice is required,

This evening at our weekly fire meeting/training we were surprised by the Sherman Lutheran Church Women’s Group. The group wanted to stop by and show their appreciation with cookies and this amazing plaque! Thank you so much for such a thoughtful gift!

The Riverton Fire Department is hosting an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) class here at Riverton Fire Sept.20th-Nov.1st. This is a great class hosted by your Riverton Fire Personnel. If you are currently on a Fire Department and want to get certified or you just want to gain a certification and become part of the EMS Community this is a great opportunity for you!
