Windham Area Interfaith Ministry WAIM uplifts and unites our community by providing caring services and resources to meet our neighbors' needs with dignity and respect. of each month.

WAIM is a volunteer driven organization that serves 8,000 people a year from Windham and twelve surrounding towns. Services include financial assistance for energy needs and other emergencies. With the help of our community, WAIM provides gently used clothing, household goods and furniture to people who need them. WAIM's Partner in Independence Program offers adult mentoring to those who wish to i

ncrease their financial stability; and WAIM's seasonal programs provide help with school clothing, holiday gifts and activities, and Willimantic's longest continually operating community garden. WAIM does not check messages on this social media page often. If you are on need of immediate assistance please call our direct line 860-456-7270. Our office hours are Tuesday- Friday 9am-4pm and Sat. 9am-12pm. Shopping hours are Tues, Thurs, and Fri. 9am-12pm and the first Sat.

Need a lil something-something for the house, a summer party, a decoration, a plushy? You're in luck!! The 3rd WAIM FLEA MARKET of the year takes place on Saturday, June 27th from 8am-12. Its a great stop in for all sorts of curious, lovely finds! All proceeds go to WAIM general Fund. Cash, check and card accepted.

Much appreciation to our Saturday WAIM faith member volunteers from Hebron Congregational and Catholic Community of the Good Shepard in Hebron/Columbia. They have been sprucing up our linens, bedding and toiletry backstock- very much needed after a multitude of community donations were received last week.
