Eastern CT Veterans Community Center We are a safe place for veterans of all ages, both men and women, to meet and share and make friends!

We are a group of veterans and volunteers who came together and became friends and family. Most veterans and their spouses are not aware of all of the benefits and opportunities they qualify for. Our goal is not only to provide a safe, warm and friendly environment for everyone to gather and build relationships, but it is to help veterans and their families better navigate and understand the VA an

🍁 The Eastern CT Maple Festival is Almost Here! 🍁

Join us on March 29 & 30 at EO Smith High School, Storrs, CT for a weekend of family-friendly fun, live entertainment, food trucks, artisan vendors, and everything maple!

From delicious maple treats to handcrafted goods, this is the perfect way to celebrate the season and support local businesses. Stay tuned as we spotlight the incredible vendors who will be part of this year’s festival!

If you want to help people in TN or NC one of the most active groups helping in the mountains is Mercury One. They r still doing rescues flying into unreachable places. They need money for fuel for helicopters and planes. Been dropping medical supplies and food and water. Here is link. http://mercuryone.org/disaster-relief/.

Also shout out to active duty from Fort Bragg that have taken all their personal leave to come and help. Veterans from everywhere are carrying the load here. So are private contractors bringing trucks and equipment. Would be great if government sent Fort Bragg soldiers officially with their manpower and equipment. Thank you again to America’s heroes.
