New Hire Announcement

The Willingboro Fire Department is pleased to announce the newest member of our team, Joseph Feliciano who has joined us as a probationary firefighter as of Friday, May 8, 2026. Firefighter Feliciano is currently assigned to the C-platoon. Firefighter Feliciano joined the fire service as a volunteer firefighter with Lenola Fire Company in January 2023.
We are confident that Firefighter Feliciano skills and dedication will be a tremendous asset to our department. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Firefighter Joseph Feliciano as he begins this important role.

Promotion Announcement

The Willingboro Fire Department is pleased to announce the promotion of Lt. James Rydarowski to the rank of Fire Captain. Captain Rydarowski is currently assigned to the B-platoon and has been employed by the Township of Willingboro since November 2004. Captain Rydarowski serves as the fleet maintenance coordinator for the department.
Please congratulate Captain James Rydarowski on this well-deserved promotion and thank him for his continued service to our community.

Yesterday at 17:22, WFD responded to a reported structure fire in Delran. WFD’s Crew assisted with opening up and checking for extension on the second and third floors. All occupants made it out safely. 🚒

The Willingboro Fire Department will be conducting its 12th Annual Youth Fire Academy Class from July 6-17, 2026. This year class will run for two weeks (Monday-Friday). The class will be open to students from ages 13-17 who may be interested in a fire service career. Students in the class will be given an opportunity to participate in various aspects of the fire service. Graduation will occur on Saturday, July 18, 2026.

The class will be held at the Willingboro FIRE & EMS Building located at the corner of Charleston Road & JFK Way. Class participants will be under the direction of Firefighter Robert LeHuquet and other highly experienced fire department personnel. The class will also visit several other emergency services agencies. CLASS LIMIT: 25 Cadets

Interested students can register for the class in one of three (3) ways:
