Yesterday, the Willingboro Police Department had the pleasure of welcoming the Student Safety Officers from Twin Hills Elementary School to our headquarters.

The students enjoyed a tour of the police station and had the opportunity to observe demonstrations by our K-9 Unit. It was a great opportunity to connect with these young leaders, answer their questions, and provide a behind-the-scenes look at the work our officers do each day to keep our community safe.

Thank you to the students, teachers, and staff from Twin Hills Elementary for spending part of your day with us. We hope you enjoyed your visit!

The Willingboro Township Police Department recognizes the collaborative efforts of our federal, state, county, and local law enforcement partners in a long-term narcotics and fi****ms trafficking investigation that recently resulted in the sentencing of eight defendants in federal court. WTPD assisted as part of the multi-agency investigation, which helped remove dangerous drugs and illegal fi****ms from our communities. We remain committed to working with our law enforcement partners to keep Willingboro and Burlington County safe.

Eight current or former Burlington County, New Jersey residents have been sentenced to prison in recent months after pleading guilty to narcotics and fi****ms offenses.

To celebrate their hard work and dedication, our officers hosted a pizza party and presented a donation to support the organization. We are proud of these incredible athletes and wish them the best of luck as they compete this weekend.

Our hearts are with the injured officers, their families, and every member of the Atlantic City Police Department during this difficult time.

Recently, Officer U. Moore and Nunez participated in Career Day at Twin Hills Elementary School and W.R. James Elementary School.

Our officers enjoyed meeting with students, answering questions about law enforcement, and encouraging them to explore the many opportunities available to them in the future.

Thank you to both schools for the invitation and for providing students with the opportunity to learn about different career paths and dream big about their futures.
