Thank you to the thousands of people I have met, listened to, and talked with as I continue to show up, work, and get things done. Office hours. Community events. Constituent services. Legislative meetings. Door knocking. And more.

When I was elected State Senator for the 35th District, I promised that I would have an open door policy, be out and about frequently in all 13 towns, and work hard for the people of Ashford, Chaplin, Coventry, Eastford, Ellington, Hampton, Stafford, Thompson, Tolland, Union, Vernon, Willington, and Woodstock.

Promises kept every year.

I haven’t stopped there. I’m continuing to show up and get things done. You’ll continue to see me in your town. Proud to do it with common sense, leadership, and experience as the State Senator for the 35th District.

I am in agreement with the many residents across Connecticut who are seeing this technology being implemented by their towns and are wondering what types of privacy protections are being implemented for ordinary people who are just going about their lives. I understand that this equipment is intended to keep our towns and roads safe—and that’s a good thing—but we must have clear policies in place regarding what is happening with this data, who has access to it, and how it can be used.

Thank you Senator Bob Duff, Senate Majority Leader & State Senator James Maroney for your leadership on this issue and leading the bill last session.

CT legislature recognizes WFD member for his years of service to Willington! Congratulations Jim!

Tonight, at our monthly meeting, Life Member Jim Humphrey was honored with a Citation from the Connecticut General Assembly for his 50 years of service to the Town of Willington and the Willington Fire Department #1. Thank you to Representative Tammy Nuccio and Senator Jeff Gordon for presenting the award! The Willington Fire Department is extremely grateful for his service. Congratulations Jim!!
