Don’t forget! Healthy Kids Clinic will be offering walk-in sports physicals on:

⚠️ Important: This is the only date this summer that Healthy Kids Clinic will offer sports physicals. Be sure to take advantage of this opportunity to get your student-athlete ready for the upcoming school year and sports season!

Wanted to invite all 6th-8th grade ladies to Open gym on Monday and Tuesday night at WCMS. Open gyms are being (temporarily) held at WCMS due to the North Washington Gym floor being refinished.

Monday 6-22-26 6:00-7:30pm (at the WCMS upper gym)
Tuesday 6-23-26 6:00-7:30pm (at WCMS upper gym)

If your daughter intends to play basketball this season but has been unable to attend open gyms then please call Coach Keith Creech at (606)-335-3433. Your call will help us begin to make preparations for the upcoming season. (Collecting Jersey sizes etc.)

Today, Washington County Schools joins communities across the nation in recognizing Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and progress. ✨

📜 Observed annually on June 19, Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, learned of their freedom, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed by President Abraham Lincoln.

🤝 As we recognize this important day in our nation’s history, we reflect on the values of freedom, equality, and opportunity for all. Through education, understanding, and respect, we can continue building stronger communities for future generations.

🍎☀️ REMINDER: FREE SUMMER MEALS AVAILABLE TOMORROW! ☀️🍎

Washington County Schools’ Summer Feeding Program continues tomorrow, Wednesday, June 10, with FREE meals available for all children 18 and under!

Each child receives a 7-day supply of meals at no cost through the SUN Programs (USDA’s Summer Nutrition Programs for Kids).

✅ FREE for all children 18 & under
✅ No registration required
✅ First come, first served
✅ Weekly meal pickup

🏫 Washington County Elementary/Middle School
🕘 9:00–11:00 a.m.

🏫 Washington County High School
🕔 5:00–6:30 p.m.

🚨 PLEASE NOTE: NO meals will be distributed at North Washington Elementary/Middle School this week due to kitchen equipment repairs. Families should visit WCES/WCMS or WCHS for meal pickup.

We will announce when the NWES location is ready to begin serving meals.

Our last day of school talent show did not disappoint! 💃👏

Students from all over our school showed up with an amazing lineup of acts: singing, dancing, hand jives, cheer routines, original skits, instrumentals, and more.

Thank you to each student who performed for making this such a memorable summer send-off! We are so proud of each and every one of you!

A special shout out to Mrs. Pam Nicholas who facilitated the talent show--we appreciate all you do for us!
