NORTH WASHINGTON PTO SNACK CART
EVERYTHING IS $1.00!

The North Washington PTO Snack Cart will be available every Friday, unless otherwise specified.

SNACK CART BEGINS THIS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4TH!

Students will have the opportunity to purchase a variety of tasty treats, including:
Juices
Capri Suns
Chips
String Cheese
Go-Gurts
Fruit Snacks
And several other fun snacks and treats!

All Snack Cart items are $1.00 each.

PURCHASE LIMIT

To help make Snack Cart fair and manageable for everyone, there is a limit of 3 items per student, for a maximum total of $3.00 each Friday.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT MONEY

Snack Cart money must be sent with your individual student on Friday morning.

Please note:
Snack Cart money cannot be accepted in the front office.
Students should bring their own money with them on Friday morning.
Money should not be shared or distributed between students for Snack Cart purchases.
Please send no more than $3.00 per student for Snack Cart.

WANT TO VOLUNTEER?
We would love to have your help!

Anyone interested in volunteering for Snack Cart must first contact the Board of Education and complete the required background checks.

First Grade Math in Motion! 🧮🎲

Our first graders are diving headfirst into hands-on counting and addition this week! Teachers showed students how to use fun manipulatives to master new skills through play. They raced to the finish line in Number Race, rolling dice and combining numbers to build addition skills, and organized colorful sets of objects in Counting Collections to strengthen their counting and problem-solving.

We love seeing them discover new ways to think! 🌟👏

Better late than never! We just have to take a moment to showcase how incredible our Kindergarten Camp was at North Washington! 🍎✨

Before our newest Little Patriots officially kicked off their school journey this week, we were able to welcome them and their families to the NW family at Kindergarten Camp.

Kindergarteners had the best time meeting their teachers, exploring their classrooms, and making new friends. They got right to work reading books, creating fun crafts, playing on the playground, and even practicing how to navigate the lunch line like pros!

Meanwhile, families got the full breakdown on all things North Washington. They learned the ins and outs of mastering the car pickup line and bus transportation, how attendance and absences work, and even got the scoop on the fan favorite Snack Cart Friday!

We are so proud of how brave and excited our new students were during Kindergarten Camp, but we loved seeing them this week for the first week of school even more! ❤️

BREAKFAST & MORNING ARRIVAL REMINDER

School doors open each morning at 7:30 AM.

All students who arrive by bus will have the opportunity to go through the breakfast line.

Students who are car riders must arrive by 7:40 AM in order to go through the breakfast line and have enough time to eat before the school day begins.

Please remember that tardy time begins at 8:05 AM each morning.

We appreciate your help in making sure students arrive on time, have an opportunity to eat breakfast, and are ready for a great day of learning!

The Tater Trailer is rolling our way this Friday, and our staff, families, and community members are invited to stop by and grab lunch!

Friday, August 28th from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM.

The Tater Trailer will be serving up plenty of delicious options, including loaded potatoes, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, seasoned fries, cheese fries, and more!

And yes… they’re bringing RANCH FRIES!
