Well… We didn’t win this one, I’d like to take a minute and thank everyone who voted for me, we took more percentage away from Howard Klug than any of his past opponents, thank you for taking a chance and letting your voices be heard. On that note keep making your voices heard… let Mayor Klug and the city council know about the issues you have within the city, make these issues public. I’ll be back in 2026 to try again 🙂! Lastly I’d like to congratulate my opponent Mayor Howard Klug on winning re-election.

A clarification to the video of myself speaking at the lions club, I would like to make clear, within Coca-Cola I have no say or affect over the hiring policies within the company, I simply used coca-cola as a broad example of the general job market within Williston, I am not in a position to Hire anyone at coca-cola I am someone people look to and ask questions of while I am working with coca-Cola in the stores of Williston, However within the company as a whole I hold little say in the decisions that are made. I deeply apologize for any misconceptions this may have caused.

Hello everyone, my name is Vincent Finsaas and I am running to be the next Mayor of Williston, ND.

My name will be the first name on the ballot above Howard Klug

I was born in Williston, ND in 2003. I Developed an interest in politics and social issues at a young age. I graduated from Williston High School in 2021 and am currently pursuing a Political Science degree at Black Hills State University.

Some of my ideas are as Follows

1. I would like to organize public events and fundraisers, the profits from these events would go to modernizing and renovating the recreational facilities in our community WITHOUT raising taxes. these facilities include but are not limited to the following
Repurposing old Outdoor pool
Cleaning the parks so they can be enjoyed by Families
And starting summer youth programs

2. I would seek to cut unnecessary spending and lower taxes in the community

3. I seek to bring new business to town both local and non-local

4. I have heard many complaints about the garbage can situation in town, and I will be looking into what can be done to fix this issue, However the damage may already be done
