This page provides information and updates on the Brooktrails Township Fire Department's activity. As a department within the Brooktrails Township Community Services District, we provide fire protection services to the Brooktrails, Sylvandale, and Spring Creek subdivisions. We also cover the surrounding area, including the "Gates," Sherwood Ranch, the Old Sherwood Rancheria, and other areas along

Sherwood Road. Our Insurance Services Office (ISO) rating is a 4 in the Brooktrails subdivision and 4X in the Spring Creek and Sylvandale subdivisions. We are staffed with 4 paid responders during business hours and have an on-duty fire officer 24/7. We have the support of 10 volunteer firefighters and respond from 1 station with a fleet of 2 command vehicles, 1 utility vehicle, 1 type I engine, 1 type III engine, 1 type VI engine, 1 tactical water tender, 1 rescue/support unit, and a UTV. We support and participate in local and Statewide mutual aid and have automatic aid agreements with local cooperators.
