Time is running out to get your tickets for "On Tap with Michael Perry"! The last day to buy tickets is September 8th, and there will be none sold at the door of the event. Come to the Circulation Desk of the library with $30 per ticket to buy yours!

An Elvis enthusiast will be displaying his collection at the Willmar Public Library from August 29th to September 4th, with times for a Q&A with him throughout the week. Come anytime the library is open to see the items! Q&A times: August 31st from 1-4 pm, September 2nd from 4-7 pm and September 4th from 1-4 pm.

Teens ages 12 - 18 are invited to meet at the library and learn how to use our Jewelry Stamping Kit from the Makerspace on Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Due to limited supplies and equipment, we ask that you please register in advance for this program. Also, due to the noise of the equipment, we will be meeting upstairs in the Multipurpose room.

Teens and Tweens have done amazing things at the Willmar Public Library the last few months during our Summer Reading Program. Here are some fun fast facts to prove just how awesome they were! They stayed active in the community which was reflected in the amount of bingo sheets they turned in to be entered in the prize drawings, and they read a ton of minutes! Great work!

Friendly reminder that we have more fun storytimes this week, including one with Kandiyohi County Public Health tomorrow at 10:00! If you can't join that one, make sure to show up for ECFE at the Library on Friday at 10:00!

Starting in September, we are revamping Boba and Anime to Adventures in Anime! There will be a few changes to the program including that it will now be a multi-age program for 13 to 30 year olds. We will expand the food options from boba to various Japanese snacks. We will also be sampling different anime each program by watching the first few episodes, to hopefully help you find your next show to watch! No registration required.

Our Junk Journal Night Club meeting will be tomorrow at 5:30 pm in the Multipurpose Room. If you are working on a themed project, feel free to bring. Otherwise, the library will provide supplies.
