Join us tomorrow, May 19, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. as we partner with Karly from Central Minnesota Jobs & Training Services to present to you a free career workshop for teens and young adults. The workshop is open to people 14 to 24 who are looking for guidance on careers and employment skills. The topic for May is applications and resumes. Attendees will learn how to accurately and completely fill out applications and create an eye catching resume. If you have questions please contact Karly at (320) 894-5320.

Vision 2040 is proud to highlight events that celebrate the voices of our community. The Willmar Project is a verbatim play created from the real words of over 100 local neighbors.

The Neighborhood Theatre Project interviewed residents about faith, diversity, and life in Willmar to create this collaborative script. These stories are now being performed back for the community that inspired them.

Performances take place May 15, 16, and 17. Tickets are available on a sliding scale donation of 0 to 20 dollars to ensure the event is accessible to everyone. Half of all proceeds go directly to local partners to support community initiatives in Willmar.
