Project: Wills Point Business Park Drive Approach Repair
Location: Wills Point Business Park, E. Highway 80, Wills Point, Texas
Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, for the reconstruction of the drive approach at Wills Point Business Park, Wills Point, Texas.
SCOPE OF WORK:
Reconstruction of concrete 6” thick, 115’ long, 25’ – 110’ wide at entrance of park, tying into TxDOT Hwy. 80 ROW.
• Demo and removal of existing concrete approach and roadway
• Furnish and Install 6-inch thick, 3500 PSI concrete roadway with #4 rebar at 16-inch OCEW
• Establishment of positive drainage through elevation control – ½” cross slope from edge of concrete
• Installation of expansion joints at 15-foot intervals and sawcut joints at 15-foot intervals
• Sealing of all expansion and sawcut joints
• Mechanical drilling of dowels at tie into existing pavement
• Backfilling of roadway edges – 1 ½” below pavement to allow proper drainage
Submit sealed bids to: Wills Point Economic Development Corporation, P.O. Box 217, Wills Point, TX 75169 or in person at Van Zandt County Regional Airport 36671 State Highway 64 Wills Point, TX 75169. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:15 PM on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Van Zandt County Regional Airport.
Contractor Requirements (to be included with bid):
• Proof of liability insurance coverage
• Experience in similar concrete construction projects
• References from at least three (3) previous clients
The project must be completed within 45 days from the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $100.00 per day for each day the project exceeds the completion deadline unless weather delays or other considerations as approved by Wills Point Economic Development Board.
A pre-bid meeting at job site will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 2:00pm. Attendance is mandatory to bid correctly. Any addenda to this bid will be issued in writing and posted on the Wills Point Economic Development Corporation website – www.willspointtx.gov.

Wills Point EDC reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process.
This RFP is subject to the provisions of the Texas Government Code and applicable federal regulations.
