There are already protections for taxpayers: state oversight, compliance requirements, & reporting standards - the problem isn’t a lack of rules!

Titles and positions can give someone authority but character is what determines how that authority is used.

𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 -𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁.

The book of Judges shows something powerful: Even when faith broke down, grace kept showing up! God kept raising up leaders & kept calling His people forward.

But Scripture also warns us that if we’re only talking about what used to be, something is wrong. 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱.

That’s especially true in runoff season, when fewer people vote and it’s easy to disengage. Take the time to research the candidates, ask questions, and make sure the candidates you support reflect your values.

Our best days aren’t behind us. They’re in front of us. So press forward in faith, walk in obedience, and keep building the future of VZ County!

Not Walker!!! 😢

We join millions across Texas and the nation in mourning the loss of Chuck Norris.

Chuck Norris represented more than strength on screen - he stood for faith, family, and freedom. He was a man who believed deeply in this country and wasn’t afraid to say so.

Through his work and example, he reminded us that character, conviction, and courage matter.

His legacy will continue to inspire Texans who believe in standing firm, living with purpose, and defending the values that make America strong.
