Peter’s guidance here is so fitting for the names that have been placed on the station’s new memorial, as they lived in such a manner.

From this day forward, dedicated volunteers of this department will be remembered for their commitments as they pass on. We welcome you to stop by and encourage you to use whatever gift you have received from God’s grace.

Dr. Groce played a vital role in the Rock Springs Community volunteering countless hours to his church, neighbors, and over 15 years to this fire department. He managed everything from training, funding, monthly meetings, to safety on scene. He carried a big stick around here and will be greatly missed.

We are with heavy hearts to announce the passing of Tommy Free. He dedicated many hours volunteering for not only this fire department but every aspect of the Rock Springs Communty. May the Lord give each of us the same light and wisdom he gave Tommy that we may live in a similar way.

Acts 20:35 “In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

March 8, escaped controlled burn

Wildfire risk has increased across the state today and will continue through the weekend. The increased risk is due to:

- Low humidity, increasing winds, and higher temperatures
- High levels of desiccated leaves and other vegetation from last growing season
- Increased numbers of people attempting to burn debris, fields, and woodlands

We urge everyone to please take caution and pay attention to conditions in your area prior to attempting a burn.
