WESTINGHOUSE ARTS ACADEMY CHARTER SCHOOL

NOTICE OF EXECUTIVE SESSION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of Westinghouse Arts Academy Charter School will hold an Executive Session on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.

The Executive Session will be conducted pursuant to the Pennsylvania Sunshine Act, 65 Pa.C.S. § 708, for the purpose of discussing personnel matters, legal matters, and other subjects authorized for Executive Session under Pennsylvania law.

No official action will be taken during the Executive Session.

🎨✨ Please help us welcome a potential new member of the Westinghouse Arts Academy family!

Today, we had the pleasure of meeting Auhneyah, an incredibly talented young artist whose creativity and passion truly impressed us. We are excited to share that we have officially offered Auhneyah a place as one of our newest artists at WAA.

While we eagerly await her final decision, we couldn’t resist sharing some of her amazing artwork with our community. Her talent, imagination, and artistic voice are exactly what make the arts such a powerful force.

We would also like to give a special shout-out to her mom, Kia, for supporting and encouraging Auhneyah’s artistic journey. Behind every young artist is a network of people who believe in their dreams, and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to meet both of them today.

Join us in celebrating Auhneyah and wishing her the very best as she considers becoming part of the Phoenix family. We hope to welcome her to Westinghouse Arts Academy soon!

We are still reflecting on the success of last night’s graduation ceremony as we officially wrap up the 2025–26 school year today. Looking back on this past year, we are incredibly proud of everything our campus community has accomplished!

To the Class of 2026: you leave a lasting legacy behind, and the future is yours to shape. To our incoming seniors: we look forward to watching you step into your role as school leaders next year.

To our returning freshmen, sophomores, and juniors: thank you for your hard work this year, and we wish you a safe, enriching summer break.

Finally, to our exceptional faculty and staff: your dedication to our students is what makes this work so meaningful. A special shout-out goes to the new educators and staff members who joined our school community this year—we are so glad you chose to bring your talents to our campus, and we hope your first year with us was truly rewarding!
