On Saturday, June 28th, the Ouilmette Foundation will host its sixth summer beachfront fundraiser and the second in the Wallace Bowl in Gillson Park.
The Back the Bowl Bash (formerly Beach Bash) will feature an all inclusive event of cold drinks, dancing, local food, and best of all, fantastic music! NEW this year - food and drinks are included in your ticket cost! Food will be available from 6-8 pm.

This summer, the staff at Wilmette Park District has introduced two wonderful ways to enjoy the beach for less.
🏖️ Beach Bound Passes 🏖️
Reserve a free day pass to our swimming beaches! Passes are available through several local North Shore library pass portals, including Wilmette Public Library and can be reserved up to two months in advance. Book early - a limited number of passes are available each day.
🤗 Discount Days 🤗
Special days each month with reduced rates for ALL beach visitors. Enjoy the beach at a lower cost!
• $3 for South Beach
• $6 for Gillson Swimming Beach
• $6 for Langdon Beach

League of Women Voters of Wilmette hosts Candidate Forums for contested races in the upcoming local elections.

Hear from candidates running for local office and their positions on important issues!

When: Saturday, March 1, 2025
Where: Wilmette Village Hall

9:00 - 10:00am Village of Wilmette Board of Trustees
10:15 - 11:30am Avoca School District 37 School Board
11:45am - 1:00pm Wilmette Park District
Board of Commissioners
