👋 It’s Carolinas Rip Current Awareness Week! Almost one-third of rip current drownings in the Carolinas have been Good Samaritans trying to rescue someone. If someone is caught in a rip current, get help from a lifeguard or call 911 immediately. Advise the person to swim following the shoreline to escape the current.
