Well, most of you have heard that we could not put a garden in at 511 Concord Avenue as we had planned. It was not possible to use our capital funds from the City after all. And they would only accept the land back if we agreed upon an easy-care design, that we would pay for with said capital funds. So... here is a photo of the work to date. I will send more later. What's here shows the pattern of the garden, and the pinkish blocks that stick up line planters. The City will plant trees at all 4 outside corners as well as 4 in the middle. Each tree will have short, easily maintainable plantings around them. It should be a nice place to walk through.
PLEASE DO NOT FILL THE AREA WITH TRASH! If you feel up to it, please ask people who are tossing trash not to, and to pick up what they have tossed. Thanks a lot!

We will NOT be holding Coffee and Conversation this month due to the guidelines posted for COVID-19. If you are older (that is many of us) stay home if you can, and stay safe.

Please come! Meet some neighbors! Have some snacks! Find out about finances at the same time if you'd like.
