Good morning, Howe Families!
Today was our first day of school with all students in attendance, and the children were so excited! We are off to a great start. I do have some important information and reminders to share with you:
1. Morning Drop-Off
All morning drop-offs should take place in the car line on 10th and Marsteller Streets. The car line ends promptly at 7:20 a.m. After that time, you will need to park and walk your child to the front entrance. Please do not bring your child to the front door before 7:20 a.m. unless you are walking them to school.
2. Afternoon Pick-Up
Dismissal is at 1:45 p.m. Please make arrangements to arrive on time. Our teachers have additional responsibilities following student dismissal.
3. Bus Transportation
Bus routes began today. We do have one minor change: Bus 424 has been changed to Bus 399 and will remain Bus 399 moving forward.
4. Labor Day Holiday
There will be no school on Monday, September 7, in observance of the holiday.
5. Parent Orientation
One additional orientation session will be held on Tuesday, September 8, at 7:30 a.m. If you have not attended an orientation session, your child will not be permitted to remain at school.
6. Tardies
Students are considered Tardy at 7:30 when the bell rings. Please arrive on time and help us reduce chronic absenteeism!
Thank you for your cooperation and support as we begin another successful school year. We appreciate your partnership in helping make Howe a great place for our students to learn and grow!
