Travelling for break? You may be away for the Annual Town Election, but you can still vote early!

Our Annual Town Election is on April 26, 2025 - that is the last Saturday in April Vacation for the Wilmington Public Schools.

If your family is heading out of town for the week and you still want to vote in the election, you have options!

You can request a vote-by-mail ballot online at voteinma.com or you can fill out the application and drop it in our drop box at Town Hall (fillable/printable pdf here: https://www.sec.state.ma.us/divisions/elections/download/vote-by-mail-applications/vote-by-mail-paper-application-2023.pdf).

And last but not least, you can vote early in person! You can vote in the Clerk's Office during our normal business hours.

A quick note - our normal business hours are changing! We will be open late on Tuesdays (until 7 pm) and closing early on Fridays (closing at 12:30) starting next Tuesday, April 1st!

WPS will close early today, March 14th, 2023 as a result of the storm & the concerns for travel safety. We will follow our normal Early Release Day schedule. All after school activities will be cancelled.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued tomorrow with up to 6 inches of snow predicted for the area. Due to concerns with road & travel safety, all schools in WPS will be closed on Tues., Feb. 28

All afternoon and evening activities in WPS will be cancelled today, 1/23/23.

The Wilmington Public Schools will be closed today, January 20th, as a result of the storm. This includes all programs and services.

WPS will be closed on Friday, February 4 due to the weather advisory for the area.

Given the winter storm warning forecast that appears locked-in for the area starting at 1:00 a.m. and extending through tomorrow evening, I want to inform you that the Wilmington Public Schools will be closed tomorrow - Friday, January 7. Yes, it is a snow day!

Please note that all classes PreK through grade 12 and all school activities will be canceled for the day. This includes all before and after school activities, the CARES Program, sports and extra-curricular events. All district offices will also be closed for the day.

Please stay safe and remain healthy!

The Wilmington Public Schools Visual Arts Department invites you to the opening of our 9th annual Student Art Show on Friday, May 28th at 6:00PM. Our online galleries will be available in a slideshow format that you will be able to view from any device at your leisure. Though our in‐classroom time was limited we were able to gather amazing work from both our hybrid and remote students for inclusion in the showcase the artistic passion and dedication of our students.

WPS will be participating in a Tiered Focused Monitoring Review during the week of May 3rd. The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education will visit the district and monitor our compliance with regulations. See our full press release here:

All evening & afternoon activities today, Monday, Feb. 1, in WPS are cancelled. With a forecast for snow in Wilmington expected to be 8-14 inches when the storm is over, all schools & offices will be closed on Tues. Feb. 2 for a "snow day.

As a result of the winter storm scheduled for the area tonight and tomorrow all schools and offices in WPS will be closed on Thursday, December 17. Due to concerns with possible power outages Thursday will not be a remote instruction day but a classic 'Snow Day!'
