The focus is Mechatronics & Robotics Technician positions at $28.00/hour. The format is designed to support walk-in job seekers with a short presentation so they can learn about the role, hiring process and ask questions. If attendance is strong, the presentation format allows participants to cycle through without long wait times, which makes for a smooth experience on their end.

Participants who attend can receive a job offer on the spot, so they should bring a valid photo ID for Form I-9 verification.

Qualifications for the Mechatronics & Robotics Technician role:

Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Completion of Amazon's Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship Program,

OR

2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls
2+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics
2+ years of demonstrating safety standards
2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnosing material handling equipment (MHE)

•MER: 12 active clients (3 new enrollments)
•STAR Center: 17 active clients (6 new enrollments)
•NHC Local Reentry Council: 38 active clients (10 new enrollments)
•NC FIT: 46 active clients, 8 clients through FIT Wellness
•Permanent Supportive Housing: 13 total clients served
•CBI Outreach: 17 active participants this month
•28 Medicaid enrollments completed through NC FIT in 2026 so far
•180+ clients actively engaged in LINC services
