Big news: for the first time, our Coalition has an office! We are thrilled to share that Cape Fear Housing Coalition is now a partner at The Harrelson Center, Wilmington's nonprofit campus located in the heart of downtown.

This new space creates more opportunities for in-person meetings, events, and collaboration with other community partners.

We want to give a special shout out to Strong Roots Renovations and John Buechele for sponsoring our first few months. We cannot wait to grow into this space and live out our mission in new ways!

We are excited to join our partners and peers across the country in celebrating the passage of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act! This bipartisan package is the most comprehensive housing reform legislation in generations and will tackle a host of challenges related to the production and preservation of our nation's housing stock.

We want to thank Senator Thom Tillis, Senator Ted Budd, and Rep. David Rouzer for voting to support the bill and North Carolina's housing needs. A link to a deep dive on the contents of the bill can be found the comments!
