✅️ Graduates were celebrated recognizing their achievement that defied the odds of children in foster care
✅️ Reunifications were celebrated, acknowledging the hardwork the parents did to bring their babies home

We are so excited to share the Foster Family Alliance of North Carolina Foster Parents of the Year!

This one is personal to us...as the Myers are from right here in Wilmington......nominated not only for their selfless dedication to the best interest children they care for, but for the service to the foster care community through volunteering and for stepping up for fellow foster/adoptive parents when needed, in so many ways......more on that later! 🙂

⁉ DID YOU KNOW ⁉ Our Foster Closet is 95% BRAND NEW ITEMS!

We only accept NEW items so that every child entering foster care receives something clean, safe, and truly their own. Your donations help us give kids dignity during one of the hardest moments of their lives.

THE EXCEPTION
Infant Equipment - cribs, strollers, swings, toddler beds, etc - the costlier items that are used only for a few months at a time.

LUGGAGE
We do not accept used luggage, because we have generous partners that provide brand new luggage for our kids.

GENTLY USED CHILDREN'S ITEMS (Clothes, Toys, Shoes, Books etc.)
Can be donated by dropping off at Memories of a Child at 6932 Market Street - let them know it's for Foster Pantry and they give us a generous credit to shop for the items we need most!

Did you see some familiar faces on the news last week?!

Thank you WWAY TV for spending some time with us, and a BIG thank you to Family Support Network of Southeastern NC, Inc. for securing the funding to extend your trainings to our families 💙

Shout out to our families who agreed to be interviewed to share with our community how important programming, partnerships, and collaboration is when supporting our kids and families in the trenches of foster care.

The families participated in the Foster Care Wraparound Program, which included activities such as food, painting, and outings for both children and caregivers.
