The Young Democrats of New Hanover County is an auxiliary of the New Hanover County Democratic Party. Membership within the organization is open to all Democrats between the ages of 18-36. Monthly Meetings occur every first Monday from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the NHCDP Headquarters at 5041 New Centre Drive, Suite 109

There will be a school bond referendum on the ballot this November! This will go toward critical projects for our local public schools. We need this investment! Vote YES in November!

Michael Lee, the Republican Majority Leader of the NC State Senate, has released a new deepfaked AI-generated TV ad bashing his Democratic challenger Jessica Bichler. The ad fakes images of Bichler doing suggestive contortions over a voiceover calling her "woke" and "bonkers."

Republican Michael Lee represents Senate District 7, a heavily gerrymandered district which covers most of New Hanover County. It's considered a tossup district in this November's election.

Carolina Forward has endorsed Jessica Bichler in this race.
