Friends of Brandywine Creek State Park Our mission is to champion volunteerism, education, and stewardship at Brandywine Creek State Park. WHO ARE THE FRIENDS?

First and foremost, the Friends are people who care deeply about the beauty of Brandywine Creek State Park. We are a 501(c)(3) organization that raises and distributes funds to protect the Park, enhance visitors’ experience, support our volunteers, and promote education programs at the Park. Our projects are varied and we welcome your suggestions and new ideas. PAST PROJECTS

Construction of a 75

seat amphitheater that is used for programs and can be rented for community events

Purchase of canoes and trailer for park programming. CURRENT PROJECTS IN 2011

Scholarship Program – The FBCSP provide funds for educational programs at the park, to date assisting more than 600 students to attend programs. Establishment of an Endowment Fund at the Delaware community Foundation to support future operations of the Park.
